The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away! Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out. Anyone who wants to get a complete workout in half the time; by working out in the water with Aqua Zumba, the participant will train aerobic endurance, muscular resistance, flexibility and joint mobility all at the same time!

You have probably heard that Buchanan County, the City of St. Joseph and the St. Joseph Family YMCA have developed a unique partnership to develop a first City Park and a new Y Family Branch on the northeastern area of our community. This is “a once in a lifetime opportunity” to provide a “win” for the county, the city, and the Y. More importantly this is an opportunity to create a community asset that will make our city more attractive to potential families and businesses while creating a place for our children and families to recreate and develop healthier lifestyles.
Most importantly, we need all Community Advocates to attend the City Council meeting on Tuesday, September 7th at 7 PM on the 3rd floor of City Hall. We ask that you prepare a brief 3 to 4 minute comment to our City Council members in favor of a first City Park and a new Y Family Branch.
