Our childcare programs and early learning centers are committed to the YMCA four core values:

Together parents and staff have one mutual interest: your child! All our care providers are experienced child care individuals who are committed to providing excellent care for your children.
A program designed for your child in grades K-6, to provide care with fun programs that support your child in character development, education and social skills. Schedule includes study-time, large and small group activities, arts and crafts, free time, and snack. Full-time participants receive a FREE Youth Membership to the St. Joseph Family YMCA. (credit will be issued if a membership is already paid in full). All SEP sites are licensed by the State of Missouri. Each site has a highly qualified Site Director who is required to have a minimum of 60 college hours, 12 of which are elementary education classes.
Facilities are licensed by the Missouri Bureau of Child Care. All staff is trained in First Aid and CPR. Curriculum follows the Creative Curriculum and YMCA of USA Curriculum. Daily activities feature playground, arts and crafts, computers, circle time, science, language and writing, music and dance, field trips, and much more! Nutritious snacks and lunch provided. Monthly newsletter, parent/teacher conferences, and family activities are also included.
