Swim Lessons

Parent Child
(6 months - 2 years)
|
Requires parent accompany each child in the
water. Classes are designed to maintain a safe and enjoyable
one-on-one relationship between
parent
and child. Class consists of 30 minutes pool time and short discussion.

Pike/Eel
(3-5
years)
|
Children adjust to water and become comfortable developing independence. Teaches basic stroke and kicking skills, floating, and pool safety.

Ray/Starfish
(3-5 years)
|
For children who can swim 15' with faces in water and no flotation device. Reviews and improves stroke skills on front, back, and side. Builds endurance and teachers treading water.

Polliwog
(6-13 years)
|
Beginner
level for
those
uncomfortable
or
inexperienced
in
water. Teaches
basic
water
skills
including
gliding
with face
in water,
floating,
and
kicking.

Guppy
(6-13 years)
|
For children able to swim 20-25 yards with or without floatation device. Teaches swimming on front, back, and side and taking a breath while swimming. Will begin rotary breathing, increase endurance with strokes.

Minnow
(6-13 years)
|
For children able to swim 25 yards on front and back with or without a floatation device. Teaches front crawl with rotary breathing, backstroke, sidestroke, and beginning breast stroke.

Fish
(6-13 years)
|
For children able to swim 25 yards front crawl with rotary breathing, back crawl, sidestroke, and breast stroke. Refines breast stroke, teaches butterfly, open turns, and improves other strokes.

Flying Fish
(6-13 years)
|
For children able to swim 100 yards front crawl, back crawl, breast stroke, elementary breast stroke, and 15 yards
butterfly. Improves breast stroke and butterfly; teaches water rescue and endurance.

Shark
(6-13 years)
|
For children able to swim 100 yards front crawl, back crawl, breast stroke, elementary breast stroke, and 25 yards butterfly.
Teaches the
I.M., starts, turns, and improves endurance.

Porpoise
(6-13 years)
|
For children able to swim 100 yards front crawl, back crawl, breast stroke, elementary breast stroke, 25 yards butterfly, and 50 yards over arm sidestroke. Teaches water polo, medley, and trudgen crawl. Adds components of volunteering in aquatics.

Fit for Two
Designed with the pre/post natal body in mind. Enjoy this safe shallow water class that includes stretching, water exercise, and muscle conditioning. No swimming skills required.
Adult
Beginners Swim
Lessons
A special class for those who are afraid of the water. Instructors work with students in a small group to help them overcome their fears and begin to develop basic swimming skills.
Private Lessons
Must purchase a minimum of 5 lessons. Each session is for 30 minutes and are one-on-one with instructor.
Semi-Private Lessons
Must purchase a minimum of 5 lessons. Each session is for 30 minutes and are in group of two with instructor.
